I think a lot about the state of the world today. i wonder why it is so difficult to have and to maintain peace.. i believe it is because we as a nation have never truly had that. so many wars.. so much violence.. so much killing taking place. i don't understand it. We pray to the lord above us.. to bless us with happiness and to release us... but why nothing ? why no positive change ? where are you god ? you must look down upon us and be overwhelmed with remorse. how does your gracious heart let so much bad happen in this world ? the little girl that was abducted and killed.. the woman that was raped and beaten to death.. the families that lost it all due to the flooding of new orleans.. the killing of innocent people.. How do you sit back and let this happen ? Do you want us all to suffer?? we've been through so much.. have you no sympathy for what happens to your children everyday ? do you believe that all of this pain is the way to true salvation ? because when i look at what this world is, i am not sure that there is one. only you have the power to fix it all.. so why watch us like this.. are we an everlasting film composed of the worst ? is all of the bad that happens amusing to you ? i just want an answer god. i think we all want an answer. you are the only one capable of giving it to us.. and we are ready to receive. i've asked you so many questions. but please, just answer this last one... "god, where are you ??"

ReplyDeleteJesus did come to bring peace on earth, he came to bring a sword(Matthew 10:34). You have to understand, we are here on earth for one reason. To use our free will that God has given us to decide if we want to go to heaven or hell. After the Judgement when God transforms this very earth into heaven, then and only then will their be peace here. The bible speaks of wars and rumors will occur(Matthew 24:6). It is a prophecy being fulfilled. Please be aware, God is not making these terrible things happen, man is. If you want to someone to blame, blame mankind. Mankind is his own worst enemy. All this evil is of the devil, blame him by all means. God gives us free will, man chooses to use it to hurt and destroy himself. Mankind is destructive. So, is the devil. Man wants control and so does the devil. This is an evil place, we are between a bridge of heaven and hell. Man's life is a few days and full of trouble(Jobs 14:1). Why do you think God destroyed the world the first time? Man had become so corrupt that God refused to watch anymore of his evildoing. This time God is going to destroy the world by fire. God given man a second chance and once again man has abused that privilege. Mankind is so very wicked. Those of us few, who have true salvation and the holy spirit need to stay steadfast and endure to the end. Only then can we be saved. I hope you have the holy spirit. Jesus died for you to have it. The holy spirit is all knowing. If you read your bible and you have the holy spirit it will give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I pray you find all three. I grew up in a Christian home.
